Graduate/consultancy rift tackled by GyroGroup

I thought GyroGroup would be innundated on its open day for graduates (Letters, DW 12 August). In the event, around 70 people turned up and the whole thing was extremely well organised.

I asked for and got ‘tell it like it is’ feedback on my portfolio. It was disconcerting to be told one area of my work was ‘not strong’, but I am grateful for the comments.

Thanks GyroGroup. If graduates and consultancies do not communicate, employers will continue to moan about applicants and graduates will carry on wondering what is wrong with their work.

So when are other consultancies holding their open days?
