A lamp that can charge your phone, from Industrial Facility
Industrial Facility has created a new lamp than can operate as a charging point for devices such as phones and laptops.
The Industrial Facility W152 lamp features three USB outlets, which devices can be plugged into. It has been produced for Swedish lighting company Wästberg ad comes in freestanding, wall-mountable or integrated units.
The studio says the inspiration for the light comes from changing technology around lighting – “printed circuit boards, microchips and diodes are now staple ingredients”.
Industrial Facility adds: “This transformation is a chance to establish new possibilities for the meeting point between light and electronics – that wherever light is supplied, power is often also required to charge our burgeoning devices.”
