Pictured is LaChapelle Land, a book of the photography of David LaChapelle by creative director Nicholas Callaway and designer Toshiya Masuda, which has won a gold at New York’s 76th Annual Art Directors Awards. Meanwhile, The Partners grabbed a New York Festivals’ Grand Award and a gold medal for the hoarding/billboard it designed for the Warner Bros store in New York. And a Festivals’ medal also goes to Ian Logan Design for its coffee bean packaging for Whittard of Chelsea, already the winner of a gold award from the International Packaging Design Council.

Spencer Landor has created the visuals for a Terrence Higgins Trust campaign to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS. The campaign, which will run in the national press as well as in gay publications, features blurred images of two men against a vast white space. The images are intended to convey sexual interaction, but also isolation and lack of communication. The catchlines are about the risk of making assumptions about partners.
