Sorrell initiative welcomes Plant

The Sorrell Foundation has this week appointed art and design specialist Sharon Plant as director as it moves to extend its schools design project into the promotion of arts in schools.

Joinedupdesignforarts is likely to kick off in September. Designers have not yet been appointed to work on the project.

Plant is replacing Shelagh Wright, who is joining think-tank Demos at the beginning of August.
