Another week of trawling the Internet has led us to this little gem. Imprint magazine has posted an article on flawed typefaces. The description it uses for a flawed typeface is that it is perfectly fine except for one nagging aspect. The article presents 23 flawed fonts, explaining what they are, why they matter and what to do about them.
Suzie Hogan from Viaduct has created a lovely short film documenting the Viaduct team’s trip to this year’s Milan furniture fair. Hogan had her camera glued to her to record every chair, light and everything else in this time-lapse video journal.
When it comes to the free-pitching debate we’ve heard several passionate arguments against it. But illustrator Mr Bingo has taken the biscuit, making a vigorous plea that he definitely doesn’t work for free. He has posted a controversial illustration which uses expletives to make the point we get the message.
Universal Everything was commissioned by Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong to develop a multi-media wall for a video art and real-time data display in its foyer. The digital group worked alongside Eight Five Two on the project, which is the focus of the bank’s headquarters. Check out this video on Vimeo to see the results.
