SAS Design has created the website for France-based cosmetics brand Bourjois, launched last week.
The Bourjois branding is manifested in the personality and attitude of the Bourjois girl, an illustrated character. SAS was briefed to turn her from a two-dimensional figure into an interactive, 3D character suitable for application to the Web.
‘This website is about building a brand and building the personality of the character and not about e-commerce,’ remarks Nick Austin, director of SAS. The London consultancy won a three-way credentials and proposals pitch to secure the contract.
