Music overhauls personal finance brand Provident

Simple illustration and type has been adopted for personal finance brand, which can work across different territories and has been designed to relate to everyday life.

Music has rebranded loan and personal finance company Provident using a simple illustrative style, designed to work across different countries.

Provident is owned by consumer credit provider International Personal Finance, which operates across Central and Eastern Europe, the Fenno-Baltic region and Mexico and Australia.

Music was tasked with refreshing Provident – a home credit brand – and redefining the finance business’ offer to potential customers.

It was also important to show how Provident can help make a difference to everyday life by providing simple and personalised financial solutions when customers need them, according to Music.

Type and illustrations have been designed with “optimism and modernity” in mind, according to Music.

The new look is rolling out now and the whole project has taken two years, according to Music client services director Sue Strange, who says: “We have explored every touch point for current and prospective customers for the financial business and have given the brand a modern and optimistic feel that will translate across languages.”
