Gains for discounters

Food discounters Aldi, Netto and Lidl are likely `to establish robust national networks’ and `form the core of the discount market’, according to a new report by research company Verdict. The report, Verdict On Food Discounters, predicts that 185 800m2 of floor space will be added in the discount sector in the next four years.
