Help on building laws

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Department of the Environment have produced an article for lighting designers on the new building regulations which come into force on 1 July (DW 31 March).

The article is intended to be user-friendly and attempts `to bridge the gap between the building control surveyor and the lighting designer’, says Ian Maclean, chairman of CIBSE’s lighting division.
