Magazine publisher Condé Nast is launching an international website, Vogue.com, to replace the existing Vogue.co.uk. It has been designed by an in-house team.

As from 1 May, Condé Nast’s UK and US sites will be joined as Vogue.com, with Italy, France and Germany following by the end of the year. Vogue editions for Spain, Japan and Australia are scheduled to join the unified site in 2001-2.

New features of the international site include ten Vogue-recommended goods to buy from Browns and suppliers Kingshill; readers’ own Vogue.com e-mail addresses; and 24-hour live footage of the Vogue House lobby.

The “sister sites” will retain their own local addresses.
