The latest entrant into the crowded body wash market in Australia has been designed with point of difference generated through structural packaging. Lewis Kahn Staniford in Sydney was brought in by Faulding Healthcare Consumer in order to work on its brand Essences. ‘Form design is still largely overlooked in Australia as a way of bringing relevance and uniqueness to a packaging product,’ says consultancy creative director Mike Staniford. ‘It’s a very undervalued component in the equity of the brand.’ LKS aimed to evoke a sense of comfort and everyday indulgence.
