British Airways is believed to be preparing for a May launch of its new identity, designed by Newell and Sorrell.

BA has not announced a launch date as it is ‘still going through the final trial stages’, says an airline spokeswoman. ‘We are moving forward from the interim livery… and have our core concept, but many elements need to be finalised,’ she adds.

The airline is set to relaunch its domestic services on 12 March. Carlson Marketing has been handling new promotional literature. A Newell and Sorrell redesign of a BA lounge at Heathrow is part of the relaunch.
