Output has designed EP sleeves for drum ‘n’ bass artists Futuretech and Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith. The Drumsound cover (pictured) takes inspiration from mapping conventions and geographical influences, says Output managing director Dan Moore, who designed the sleeve. It represents a simplified map of Derby, the label’s hometown, he adds. The EPs, on the Technique Recordings label, are available from early next month. The consultancy was appointed without a pitch on the strength of previous work for the label.
