To The Point wins Financial Services pitch

London design consultancy To the Point has been appointed to redesign the Financial Services Authority’s range of consumer literature.

The consultancy was awarded a project to redesign brochure covers following a seven-way pitch in December, against unnamed rivals.

Its remit has since been extended to include a reworking of all text, as well as the full design of the brochures.

To the Point managing director Simon Hutton says: “It went from redesigning the covers for the FSA’s literature, to reworking every aspect of their advice for consumers.”

Hutton says the consultancy’s presentation expressed a need for extensive clarification of the information contained within the literature. “It will become much more consumer-facing,” he adds. The material is scheduled to be published in April.
