Pyott identifies with essential oils

Pyott Design has created the brand identity for Milan restaurant Aimo Nadia’s launch of a range of upmarket food products, including oils and dressings.

The consultancy is now working on packaging for around 60 products, which will be available in the UK and throughout Europe towards the end of this year.

Consultancy director James Pyott says: “We felt the identity should have a strong impact as a brand, so we created the distinctive ‘swash’ which links the A and N. This also reflects the romance and passion that the Italians have for their food.

“The general colour scheme is terracotta – inspired by the huge clay pots that most of the oils are produced and stored in,” adds Pyott.
