Garrett breaks from Arnold

Digital design star Malcolm Garrett, founder of the consultancy formerly known as AMX, has resigned from Arnold Interaction, which was formed out of the merger between Zinc and AMX earlier this year.

It is not known whether the consultancy will replace Garrett, who was chairman at AMX, but was without a title or, he maintains, a role at Arnold Interaction. ‘It couldn’t find a role for me, therefore I had no title,’ says Garrett.

‘I didn’t feel comfortable [at Arnold Interaction]. I’ll now take a break after doing the same thing for 25 years,’ he adds.

No-one was available for comment at Arnold Interaction as Design Week went to press.
