Seven made redundant at Rodney Fitch

Newsdesk: Andy Gilgrist

Rodney Fitch Design Consultants has made seven people redundant.

The cuts were made earlier this month and are thought to include six designers, of varying seniority. The seventh job to go was an administrative post.

Beyond confirming the number of the jobs lost, the consultancy is refusing to comment on the individual posts axed and why they have gone.

The consultancy also declines to comment on whether the cuts signify that the consultancy is short of work or simply going through a reorganisation.

Rodney Fitch Design Consultants was formed in 1994. In the Design Week 1997 Top 100, the consultancy was ranked 53rd, with a reported staff of 25, including some 15 designers.
