The first fruits of Superdrug’s packaging design roster are expected on-shelf in the next couple of weeks.

The health and beauty chain’s range of men’s basic toiletries is being redesigned by The Creative Leap. This will be swiftly followed by Turner Duckworth’s work on Soda, a younger styling range formerly called Scrunch.

“There will be quite an avalanche of work in the next two to three months,” says Superdrug packaging services manager Martin Richards.

Richards has been promoted from design studio manager to facilitate taking on two design managers to handle the roster.

The five-strong line-up, set up last summer, also includes Wickens Tutt Southgate, Miller Sutherland and Nucleus Design, which helped set up the roster (DW 16 August 1996).
