Illumination Commisson keeps you in the dark

A prize for the most bafflingly abstruse press release this month must go to this opening gambit promoting a new image reproduction report.

Costing a mere £31.44 for non-members of the publishing organisation, the headline reads: ‘This technical report provides guidelines for the evaluation of the cross-device and cross-media colour image reproduction performance of gamut mapping algorithms.’

Ironically, this comes from the International Commission on Illumination.
