Richard Branson’s secret weapon

Liz and Mark Warom, the entrepreneurial couple behind Virgin Vie, admit they were on tenterhooks when they presented the packaging designs they had chosen to company chairman Richard Branson.

He had stipulated the designs must be different to anything on the market, and the whole project rested on his approval. Branson didn’t just trust his own intuition, however. ‘If the chairman’s wife likes it, you’re in,’ confirm the Waroms.
