Identity groups form HGVFelton

Identity and print specialist Felton Communications and HGV Design are merging to form HGVFelton, which will begin trading on 1 January 2004.

The link-up is described as a ’50/50 partnership’, with HGV’s Pierre Vermeir becoming creative director and Felton’s Roger Felton becoming managing director.

‘We want to build the reputation of the company and create as strong a name in the commercial sector as we have on the design side,’ says Vermeir.

Both the original groups were founded in the late 1980s and have remained independently owned. The new entity will have 15 staff, ten of whom will be designers, including Vermeir.
