Jonathan Ive, Apple Computer’s globally renowned vice-president of industrial design, has been appointed to the RSA’s Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry this week at the RDI Annual Event. Four other leading designers have been given the honour this year: Ross Lovegrove and Terence Woodgate from the fields of product and furniture design, the opera designer Stefanos Lazaridis and Swiss-born graphic designer Bruno Monguzzi.
The museum will work with research studio Forensic Architecture on the installation, which is inspired by this year’s theme of “emotional states”.
