1 Photographer and multimedia designer Olimax is holding an ‘Olimax Condensed Alphabet Shoot’ on 31 August, to create a group environment to photograph subjects for his latest book, ABCD Goldfish. Portraits will be given letters of the alphabet to create a ‘cryptic photographic typography’. The book is expected to be published by Booksurge in December.

2 Design curator Libby Sellers will present the third in a series of gallery shows – Beau Savage – at Liberty, London W1 from 19 September to 19 October, coinciding with the London Design Festival and the Frieze Art Fair. 3 Corporate hospitality group Match Point has a new suite of collateral encompassing ticket wallets, swing tags, labels and outer packaging, designed by Nevis Design Consultants.

4 David Bain, an illustrator at The Organisation, has created 11 colour illustrations and hand-lettering for an NSPCC direct mail campaign targeting new supporters. The illustrations will be used across print, e-mail and a supplementary online landing page, devised by WWAV Rapp Collins. The launch at the end of this month marks the first time the children’s charity has used illustration in its welcome packs.
