Fuse fires up identity for Solnet

Fuse has created an identity and marketing literature for Supported Opening Learning Network, a distance learning initiative for small businesses developed by Anglia Polytechnic University, which was unveiled on Wednesday 27 February 2002.

Solnet provides on-line management and training material for small and medium-sized enterprises in Essex.

In addition to the identity, designed to convey easy access to the Internet, designer Clare Parker created stationery, brochures, exhibition displays and flyers.

‘The [identity’s] image of a target is intended to portray the visual promise of delivery’, says Parker.

The fee for the project was ‘around £15 000’, says Fuse principal Jeff Della Mura. Solnet is resourced with European Social Fund money.

Fuse was appointed at the end of January after a three-way credentials presentation.
