Putney tries to master riverside gateway to nowhere

Local architect Devereux Architects has won a competition to design a new gateway to Putneyand Putney is the gateway to, er, well anyway
Devereux has trousered £1000 for its idea of using recycled yacht masts that are fibre optically illuminated to ‘bring a riverside atmosphere to the high street’.
Deverux beat off competition from over 40 entrants to the competition, which was organised by Wandsworth Council and the Putney Town Centre Partnership.
