Design House pooh-poohs toilet humour

As part of Design House’s office revamp, creative director Marcus Haslam has been put in charge of toilet graphics. A theme he clearly warmed to when he expanded the original brief to include new names, as well as a new design concept. Why not call the two rooms John and Lav?, Haslam suggested cheekily. For some reason the consultancy’s co-founder John Larkin and managing director Lavinia Culverhouse vetoed the idea.
