Fitch in Malta retail project

Fitch has been appointed to design a retail and entertainment complex within the old city walls of Valletta, the capital of Malta.

Working with local architect MED Design Consultants, Fitch will provide a six-screen cinema, as well as 2326m2 of retail space, as part of a plan to revitalise the town’s nightlife.

Developed by Big Bon Holdings and the Gasan Group, the centre will be one of only two new-build sites permitted within the old city walls, which is a designated World Heritage Site. The development is due to open in October 2000.
