Logo makeover for Dualit by Milton Bayer

Iconic kitchenwares company Dualit has unveiled a redesign of its logo to mark its 60th anniversary.

In recognition that the traditional logo did not reflect the changing design of Dualit’s commercial and domestic range, the company gave Milton Bayer Creative a brief to develop a contemporary brand symbol that also embraced the message of British quality.

The end result is a simplified logo with softer angles, representing Dualit’s rounded products, which include toasters, blenders, kettles and coffee machines.

The redesigned logo will be applied to Dualit’s 28 domestic and catering equipment product lines. Seymour Powell is the group’s incumbent product design consultancy.

Ray Wellington, managing director of Milton Bayer Creative, says, ‘The old logo has remained unchanged since the early 1960s.’
