Brand identity for Octagon Motorsports

Carter Wong Tomlin has created the brand identity for Octagon Motorsports’ portfolio of five UK motor racing circuits, which was unveiled last week.

The identity is being applied to Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park, which Octagon acquired in December 1999, and Silverstone, which hosts the British Grand Prix and for which Octagon acquired a 15-year lease in December 2000.

The brief was to align each of the circuits, which have ‘their own strong brand identities’ under one umbrella, to build recognition and brand loyalty for the motorsports group and to reinforce Octagon as a major force within the international racing industry.

Carter Wong Tomlin was appointed to the job in February.
