London’s Hoxton Square has a smoking problem. Fag breaks are turning the square into a giant outdoor ashtray.

But local consultancy Zapp Communications has found a solution. Anyone looking for a nicotine hit can now pick up a Zapp-designed can found hanging by string from railings.

Smokers carry the can while puffing away and return it when they leave. To encourage Hoxton’s smokers to clean up their act, lunchtime visitations from an angelic being are persuading people to see the light. Presumably the angel is employed on the basis that cleanliness is next to godliness.
