The newly launched Prostate Cancer Charity has a logo designed by London consultancy Storyboard.

The charity aims to alter the “high level of ignorance” in society about the illness, according to Storyboard designer Alice Hayward, who says “many people don’t even know that it’s only men who get prostrate cancer”.

The logo is in blue and green. Blue was chosen as it “appeals to men, it’s a traditional, fresh, clinical colour”, says Hayward. The male symbol is incorporated into a green line.

Literature will be mailed to 1000 of the top heads of industry from this week.
