I’m probably biased having worked there, but no-one else in the design industry is going to say this. Congratulations to the Design Council.
Not many (any?) organisations have achieved the twin accolades of PR Week Campaign of the Year and Design Week Best of Show – but the Design Council has, for Creative Britain in 1998 and Great Expectations in 2002 respectively, in both cases for promoting the quality and importance of British design to business and political audiences.
With the Chartered Society of Designers and Design Business Association still having negligible significance, thank goodness the Design Council is out there doing the business for design.
