Interrogating the Surface; Eco-Architecture/ Eco-Cities; Alsop at the Soane; Cutting Design

The joint research project between Camberwell College of Arts and Chelsea College of Art and Design Interrogating the Surface shows until 12 April. The exhibition includes printworks made through digital and traditional processes.

Venue: The London Institute Gallery, Millbank, London SE1.

Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa exhibits ecologically inspired sustainable urban design projects at Eco-Architecture/ Eco-Cities until 6 May.

Venue: Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, Surrey TW9 3AB.

Alsop at the Soane, an exhibition celebrating the working process behind Alsop Architects’ best known work through models, film projections and concept sketchbooks starts tomorrow and continues until 8 June.

Venue: Sir John Soane’s Museum, 13 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2.

Five thousand years of cutler’s art has been collected for Cutting Design until 2 June. As well as its obvious function, the exhibition shows how cutlery can function as art and jewellery.
