Glasgow School of Art student Daniel Roy has designed artwork for record label Soma’s tenth anniversary compilation album, Soma 10, released on 8 April. Roy won a design competition run at the School of Art’s Department of Visual Communication. The sleeve artwork reflects the lacquer of Soma’s first release, says Roy. The joint venture between the two bodies is designed to ‘harness young Scottish design talent’, says a Soma spokesman.
