Core identity for hockey

English Hockey has unveiled a new identity created by Hull group The Core as the focal point of its strategy to change current perceptions of the sport.

The marque is being applied to the English Hockey League, the English Hockey Network and the English hockey team.

“The object is to create a contemporary style relevant to the modern era, attracting young players by projecting a more stylish, exciting, innovative and cool image for the sport,” says English Hockey marketing director Ian Thomas.

The identity is being rolled out to stationery, signage, reception interiors, leisure wear and team liveries.
