I never forget a face…

Politicians have to put up with a lot from the public. They face thrown eggs, hurled insults and, even worse, being mistaken for their opponents.

Such was the treatment dished out by Design Bridge’s Keith Young at Helsinki Airport recently, to a man he mistook for Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott.

The doppelgänger took the mistake in good grace, explaining that politicians are often mistaken for other people as their faces are often seen, but their names easily forgotten.

His name? Kenneth Clarke, formerly the Conservative government’s Chancellor of the Exchequer.
