The naked truth

The human body is a marvellous thing. So marvellous that the makers of the BBC series The Human Body wanted to show it in its full glory. They came up with the idea of lining up individuals aged between one and 100 in a wood to film them as nature intended. They called it The Line of Age – brilliant.

Only some of the volunteers came over all bashful and had second thoughts about stripping off to be part of this cinematic feat.

The photographer was then forced to improvise, hiding pants and other clothing behind bits of fern. One member of the crew has since described this brush with nature as the worst day of his life.
