Time to let the juniors become midweights

Recently I was made redundant from my job as a graphic designer. On trying to find another position I get the usual “not enough experience” response.

It annoys me when I read that companies are complaining that there are not enough midweight designers around.

Let me make a suggestion: if companies took more juniors on now, in five years’ time there will be plenty of midweights around.
