D&P applies retail foundation for cosmetics brand Aromanice

Retail design consultancy Dalziel & Pow is designing the first store for Chinese beauty and skincare brand Aromanice.

Aromanice is part of the Landy group, based in Xiamen, south-east China. Landy is an existing manufacturer making branded and licensed products for retailers in the US and UK.

David Wright, associate director-marketing at Dalziel & Pow, says the consultancy was appointed to the work in mid-March following credentials meetings.

He adds that Dalziel & Pow has been in discussions with a number of Chinese fashion retailers following a recent trade event, and hopes to announce further ongoing projects soon.

The Aromanice store is set to open in Hangzhou, eastern China in the middle of July, according to Wright.

Design work on the store is being carried out by Dalziel & Pow’s Shanghai office, which opened last November and is led by associate director Stephen Cowles.

Wright says there are no plans for the retail offer to roll out in the immediate future, but adds that this new store is intended to be the start of a new phase of business.
