CCG groups go under Fitch banner

Three consultancies within the Cordiant Communications Group stable – Fitch London, BamberForsyth Fitch and PSD Fitch – are expected to combine under a single Fitch banner early next year, as the marketing services group moves to consolidate its design and branding offer.

The change of name has yet to be ratified by CCG, but is likely to coincide with the relocation of all three businesses to the west London offices of ad agency parent Bates Group in mid-January.

On the timing of the rebrand, Fitch London chief executive Jane Simmonds says, ‘We will probably start as we mean to go on.’

A new management structure is currently being put in place to oversee the move and devise a strategy for the combined group. It comprises five ‘managing partners’: Simmonds, PSD Fitch managing director Mark Southwood, Keith Bamber and Nigel Forsyth from Bamber Forsyth Fitch and Fitch Worldwide financial director Aidan Chapman.

There will be no chief executive or managing director ‘for now’, according to Simmonds.

The management team will report both to the Bates Group and Fitch Worldwide, she says.
