London graphic design consultancy Form has designed and produced the identity for the first On-line Music Awards taking place in London in November.
Design work includes ads, call for entries pack and items for the awards night such as tickets and brochures. In addition, the company is responsible for the website design and concept and designing and art directing the awards video.
Commenting on the inspiration behind the designs, partner Paul West says, “Concepts like the Internet throw up so many clichés. We wanted something much more energetic.
“The theme of the designs has been inspired by a series of spin paintings we put together at Glastonbury which we felt were really spontaneous, energetic and explosive. We combined them with techy borders and shapes and although they are all visually different, the vocabulary is the same and the OMA logo is retained to keep continuity.”
