Brand development group Ergo has expanded its creative team, adding the new role of creative director to its line up.

The London group has appointed Ian Haughton to the new role, freeing up creative partner Simon John from the day-to-day running of the team.

Haughton previously worked freelance with Ergo, working alongside John. He has worked for branding and identity groups such as Landor Associates and Enterprise IG and has been based in Hong Kong, The Netherlands and the US.

According to John, Haughton’s global experience is invaluable. He says clients now want a genuine global slant to projects.
