The Company Design Consultants has been appointed to create a new brand identity for Namibia Tourism in the UK.
The Company was approached through its connections with public relations company Representation Plus. It was briefed to communicate the appeal of Namibia to the travel trade and consumers across a full range of marketing and promotional tools.
These include the design and development of a website which will be given a soft launch in early October to coincide with World Travel Market a month later. Eventually, the website will be developed into a one-stop travel shop with links to Air Namibia and the opportunity to book holidays on-line.
“People tend to think Namibia is a war zone or have a problem even understanding where it is, whereas those who know it recognise it as one of the most beautiful destinations in the world,” says Adrian Wheeler, creative director at The Company.
