The Team finds Shelter

Homelessness charity Shelter is seeking to appeal to supporters and possible volunteers with its latest annual report, created by The Team. As well as providing financial information, the full-colour 34-page document outlines services provided by Shelter, and includes statements by those who have volunteered their services to help it.

The consultancy was briefed to build the report around the theme of voices. This was achieved by focusing on the voices of five people who have either helped, or been helped by Shelter. ‘Unglamorous’ images of the five chosen subjects were commissioned from photographer Andrew Hall, says The Team partner Roger Rundle.

The voices theme was followed through with the use of large quotation marks, drawn to represent a roof and, by association, a home. This approach has been followed through in related publications – a financial review and a series of 22 regional publications focusing on individual housing centres run by Shelter.
