Local spills beans on KFC revamp

The whole Glasgow 1999 City of Architecture and Design thing is really taking hold of the locals. Design permeates everyday conversations, judging by a recent chat with a taxi driver on the way to the city’s airport.

Guess who he’d had in the back of his cab the other day. Only an American woman who asked to be driven to Glasgow’s KFC outlets. Seemingly she was from a US design consultancy and was monitoring the success of a new branch layout. Sounds like there’s a story in there.
