Brahm creates new look for Jacksons chain

Convenience retailer Jacksons has appointed Brahm to renew its brand positioning. The UK’s largest chain of independent convenience stores is rolling out a new corporate image in anticipation of increased competition in the sector from supermarket chains.

Brahm will be reviewing all imagery for the brand, including the company’s identity and livery, as well as assessing the impact its work will have on both store layouts and facias.

‘We are looking at a range of options in conjunction with a review of merchandising strategy,’ says Brahm managing partner David Lavelle.

According to Lavelle, the company may shift the focus of its offer towards more fresh foods and ready-meals, in a bid to compete with the ongoing roll-out of convenience stores by supermarket chains.

The new imagery will be tested in September and trialled in specific store refits.

Brahm won the business following a four-way pitch.
