The DW picture archive can be a hoot. It unearths a treasure trove of the great and good of the design industry, complete with black clothes, big hair and Eighties poses – favourites include meaningful stares while standing on fire escapes or leaning on bare brick walls at the wrong end of town. This one is a new picture, though, commemorating the launch of North Yorkshire-based graphics consultancy Eye 2 Eye.
The new identity has been launched to mark the platform’s tenth anniversary, as well as support its mission to get more fans directly supporting music creators.
The results of the annual survey conducted by Ben The Illustrator show that more than half of illustrators are not earning more than £20k annually.
Wolff Olins creative director Emma Barratt, creative director Kate Dawkins, Yarza Twins, Barclays Experience design director Noel Lyons join more experts from across the design industry.
The museum, which will close for two years in May to enable construction, will eventually feature work from the likes of Olafur Eliasson, Virgil Abloh and Yves Béhar.
