Hockey Stadium sticks with logos by Bluegreen

Bluegreen has unveiled its re-branding work for the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes. The consultancy was appointed by catering company Sodexho, which manages the stadium, to freshen up the venue.

‘It was being undersold,’ Bluegreen director Tony Wheatley explains. ‘We wanted to give it more visibility.’

The logo brings together the identities of English Hockey and the five stars of Sodexho. An animated version of the logo will appear on the relaunched website, to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The project also included the design for a new Sports Bar at the venue, scheduled to open in mid-August.

Bluegreen has also been appointed to create branding for the MK Dons, formerly Wimbledon Football Club. It will redraw the badge for the team, as well as create the programme and advertising materials.
