Results BY COLEY PORTER BELL

Charles Worthington – hairdresser to the likes of Jonathan Ross and Cybil Shepherd – is to launch a new haircare range called Results, with design by Coley Porter Bell.

The range spans 11 products designed to ‘combine the latest in technology and performance with the best in design and fragrance’ says Worthington. The design is an integral part of creating a product which ‘excels in every area. Currently, mass brands offer low prices, big manufacturers offer technological breakthroughs and designer names offer professional expertise. Results combines all of these in one range’, according to Worthington.

The pack solution, including the creation of an elliptical bottle shape, takes its cue from beauty care products rather than existing haircare ranges. ‘We wanted to design bottle shapes that

people would enjoy seeing and having in their bathrooms,’ says CPB creative director Kate Shaw.

‘Charles Worthington originally studied architecture and we wanted to reflect this facet of his character in the design. The bottle shape, while being very ergonomic, is unique to the haircare market and the graphics endorse the sleek, clean feel,’ says Shaw.

She adds: ‘Although the range is aimed mainly at women, two products are specially for men, so we needed to ensure that the overall presentation would appeal to both.’

The bottles are opaque with aluminium cladding featured on the lids of the 250ml sizes. The colours of the products are visible through the bottle, and ‘make a balanced colour spectrum’ says Shaw.

The Results range, priced between 2.99 and 4.99, will be available in branches of Boots from next week.
