Bravissimo picks The Nest to rethink its store concept

Bravissimo, the lingerie, swimwear and womenswear retailer, has appointed The Nest to undertake a series of design projects. The move follows a two-way pitch, and comes as the retailer looks to open a London flagship this autumn.

The Nest is creating a fresh store concept, which will be rolled out to future Bravissimo stores, following the London trial. The group will also redesign the company’s mail-order catalogue and giftware packaging.

‘This is a very gradual review of the retail experience. The idea is for The Nest to develop concepts that we will then take on board and manipulate ourselves,’ says a spokeswoman for Bravissimo.

Bravissimo has 12 stores in the UK and is planning on opening up to four more in the next 12 months, says the spokeswoman. The London flagship will be located on the north side of Oxford Street.

Freddie Baveystock, strategy and communications director at The Nest, hints that the London flagship will have ‘a lot of character, with a few surprises’.
